über Samy

On January 1, 2017, Sybille found a male dog, more dead than alive, with an entirely neurological collapse for an unknown reason.

He could move nothing, had no reflexes, and his pupils were rounded off, but he tried to eat. He was not almost entirely paralyzed; he showed a solid neurological tremor and bit himself into his lips.

Sybille started medical treatment, padding him softly, washing, and feeding him, but he had severe wounds from lying after time.

She started with acupuncture and massages to stimulate his reflexes again.

And called him Samy.

After a while, he learned to eat and drink again and get reflexes on the front legs.
He fights so much to come back from nothing into life again.
Sybille never thought to put him down. Samy seemed so grateful for every touch, and he began to wag his tail - answer enough.
When he raised his upper body, both started with swimming training, and after time, Samy showed reflexes on the hind legs.
Sybille let my heart decide, full of love for this guy and adopted him.
Nearly one year later, he made it!
Samy had always neurological deficits, and over the years, he has become blind. But he was the most grateful, most loving and most loyal dog.

Sybille says, Samy taught her a sharp lesson in gratitude, not giving up, incredible self-healing powers, and the importance of always standing by the side of a helpless being who wants to survive. Samy is the reason why she created MDHF

Samy passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024 with Sybille by his side
