I am Duchesse

Sybille first cared for me back in 2019.

I’m a girl, born around November 2014.

I once had a kind Thai owner, but when he died, my heart broke. I got so sad that I developed a severe skin disease – mange and fungus. I lost all my hair. My skin hurt all over, every inch of it infected.

Then I ended up in a dog shelter… and that’s where I met Sybil. She treated me, coaxed me out of my shyness, and little by little, my fur grew back. The people decided I would stay there forever.

But time changes things. The shelter became loud and chaotic, and my fear returned. The skin disease came back too.

In August 2023, Sybil found me again – and this time, she took me home. Now I have some fur here and there, not everywhere, and I’m covered in warts. But for an old lady, they say that’s totally fine.

Duchesse – the sweetest granny with the youngest heart.
