Meet the Dogs
Our place is currently home to 27 disabled dogs.
Paraplegic, blind, two-legged or three-legged, and dogs with neurological deficits.

Unfortunately, animal welfare also means being by the side of many dogs when they die, and it never gets easier.
Norma's death affected Sybille very much, and as if by divine magic, she came across this story:
"In a Paradise, pets wait for their owners in a meadow and help each other overcome the cruelties they have suffered in their lives."
Lilo
Lilo was poisoned near our home and died on 23 June 2024.
She was four years old.
In 2020, she was a stray and had been run over. I adopted her, and after a lot of training, Lilo learned to walk again.
She was a happy, cheerful, gentle soul who liked everyone and trusted without hesitation. I loved her so much.
There isn’t a single day that I don’t think of her.
