I am Georgia

  • Since February 2025, Sybille has been taking care of me.

  • I’m a little girl, born in December 2024.

  • One of Sybille’s friends found me in the jungle. I wasn’t bigger than the palm of her hand. I couldn’t walk because I wasn’t able to move my back legs.

  • Sybille gave me a home. A severe spinal infection had left my hind legs paralyzed. She worked tirelessly with me, doing physiotherapy every single day — and after just a few weeks, I was standing on all fours again. My back legs are still a little weak, but I zoom through life like a tiny whirlwind.

  • There was even a new family lined up for me. But they brought me back because sometimes I can’t control my pee. It broke Sybille’s heart. Of course, she wrapped me right back in her arms. And now it’s official: I’m home for good. And the pee? Sybille says it’s really not such a big deal.

  • Georgia is a gentle, loving little soul. When you look into her beautiful eyes, all you want to do is protect her. She’s like a tiny, soft little chick — sweet and gentle — but with a surprisingly cheeky streak.

  • Adopted and MDHF member since February 2025.
