I am Grace O´Malley

Sybille has been taking care of me since March 2024.

I’m a girl, born in February 2024.

I was just a tiny handful when a big male dog tried to put me in my place.
Sadly, he injured my spine so badly that I suddenly couldn’t move my back legs anymore.

Sybille heard about me, came right away, lifted me into her hands, and carried me home. She treated the wounds on my back and tried everything to get my legs moving again. But that wasn’t possible anymore. Instead, my legs became stiff like little sticks. Eventually, the vet had to amputate both of my back legs.

But honestly — that doesn’t bother me at all!
I race along the beach in my drag bag, faster than anyone else, just on my two front legs. Or I cruise around in style in my wheelchair with the pink wheels.

Grace is a little whirlwind. She is brave, she is proud, she is strong — just like the pirate queen Grace O’Malley. And sometimes, she’s a little grumpy — then she sticks out her tiny lower lip.
