I am Hardy

Sybille has been taking care of me since March 2025.

I’m a boy, born in March 2023.

When Sybille found me, I was hiding under an old house in the dirt. I had been hit by a car, and my spine was broken. I can’t feel my back legs, and I can’t move them anymore.

I was so scared. But then Sybille simply picked me up in her arms and carried me home.

I had terrible wounds. My back legs and my little bottom were completely raw because I had been dragging myself along the streets for weeks, searching for food. But with Sybille’s loving care, everything healed quickly.

Then she gave me a wheelchair. Now I’m just as fast as I used to be on four legs. I race all the way to the beach with my new friends. It’s wonderful here. I have so many friends to play with.

Hardy is a cheeky little scamp — full of spirit, playful, and always up to some mischief. He even likes to give a little pinch when he wants attention… but it’s all in good fun.
