I am Twiggy

Sybille has been taking care of me since September 2025.

I’m a girl, born in June 2024.

Sybille found me crawling along the side of the road. A car had hit me. My spine was broken, and since then I can’t feel my back legs or move them anymore.

When Sybille called out to me, I was so scared that I dragged myself into the bushes to hide. But she didn’t give up. She followed me, wrapped me gently in a warm blanket, and carried me to my new home.

My back paws were especially bad. From scraping along the asphalt, they were torn open almost to the bone. It looked awful. But with lots of loving care, everything healed beautifully.

I love playing most with the boys — Joe le Taxi, Hardy, and Tom. They’re pretty cool in their wheelchairs, but those things honestly scare me. So Sybille got me a stroller instead. I absolutely love being pushed all the way to the beach, sitting up high and watching the world go by.

Twiggy is a sassy little firecracker with scruffy fluffy fur. She has the most beautiful singing voice and isn’t shy about using it. She’s very confident and loves sticking her tiny nose into absolutely everything.
